Every family should have a home that’s built to last, easy to live in, and made by people they trust.
We build and update homes with careful craftsmanship, honest communication, and smart technology that makes everyday life easier.
What Sets Us Apart
Every smart home system is planned and installed by a certified smart home integrator, so the technology in your home is handled by the same family that builds it.
Tate Chen (陈锦辉)
Tate Chen founded NexHaus Construction to bring an engineer’s precision and a builder’s care to homes across Southern California. He holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Technology and a Master’s in Engineering Management, having spent more than 10 years running manufacturing facilities with a focus on efficiency and quality control.
Tate moved into construction as a project manager in Hong Kong, where he spent 4 years overseeing construction and interior design projects from budget to completion. After returning to the U.S. and becoming a licensed real estate broker, he began renovating and flipping homes, which taught him what makes a home both well built and worth the investment. He later earned his General Building (B) Contractor License and founded NexHaus.
Today, Tate leads every project with a focus on craftsmanship, smart budgeting, and keeping homeowners informed from start to finish.
